Becoming Jewish was written for people who feel drawn to Judaism but may not know where to begin. Drawing on Rabbi Marc Rubenstein’s decades of experience in Jewish education and conversion guidance, the guide explores the questions, learning, reflection, and personal growth that can be part of the journey toward Jewish life.
At the heart of our mission is a simple belief: geography should not prevent a sincere person from accessing meaningful Jewish education, rabbinic guidance, and community. Your relationship with God is not limited by where you live, and access to Jewish learning should not be either.
For people who live far from a synagogue or face mobility, work, or family limitations, serious Jewish study can be difficult to access. Our goal is to bring learning, guidance, and connection closer to those who are sincerely seeking it, wherever they may live.
